Today at Apple
Today at Apple is a global initiative that offers free creative workshops, helping participants explore the potential of Apple’s devices. For Diwali 2022, I was invited to lead a virtual studio session designed to introduce over 100 participants to digital illustration using the iPad and Apple Pencil. Together we created custom Diwali Stickers and Greetings that made every wish uniquely special.

The workshop was divided into two parts: an artist introduction, where I shared my creative journey and insights, followed by a hands-on session where attendees designed their own festive stickers and Diwali-themed greetings.
The goal was to make the session accessible to everyone—whether beginners or experienced artists—while seamlessly integrating the spirit of Diwali.
Workshop: Design Your Own Diwali Greetings
To simplify the process within the 40-minute format, I developed a custom asset library featuring decorative frames, festive shapes, text elements, and Diwali-inspired motifs. This allowed participants to mix and match elements, creating personalized greetings while learning essential Procreate techniques. The workshop was a resounding success, with attendees producing unique designs, and some even translating their digital creations into traditional rangoli patterns
Designing the Experience
Not only did I learn how to present myself as a creator on a global scale using storytelling, but I also discovered how to break down a complex task into simplified building blocks, enabling participants to enjoy the process regardless of their skill level or experience. Designing the workshop was both challenging and fun, and the joy of seeing everyone’s creations has stayed with me even now.
